How do you rebrand an organisation that people need at one of the most emotional times in life?
This was the challenge when approached by local family owned funeral directors AC Lambert & Sons. They wanted to get a head-start in competing against the large funeral groups. Portraying them as a more modern / contemporary organisation whilst still able to provide a more formal ‘old fashioned’ professional service.
We looked at altering the business name slightly. Dropping the ‘A C’, which referenced the grandfather (‘Arthur Campbell Lambert’), as the business is now run by the third generation grandsons Phil and Andy. Making the name easier to remember as well as easily passed down to the next generation.
We designed an elegant and friendly logotype that included the established date, hinting at the heritage of the family business.
