Coes Faen is full of suprises..
Tucked away on the Mawddach Estuary, this Victorian lodge is an extraordinary combination of old and new. The original 19th century architecture has been sympathetically and meticulously reinvented using space, glass, light and technology, and the result is a coastal retreat with 21st century personality. Each one of the six serene bedrooms has a view of Snowdonia and its very own private spa bathroom to make you feel brand new. Coes Faen has received annual awards and accreditations as well as having been featured in many online and print publications such as Visit Wales, The Telegraph, Wales Online and more. These truly show how our luxury bed and breakfast and restaurant stands out from other Barmouth B&B's.
What we created
As the Spa Lodge is right next to the sea down in Barmouth, we had to create something nautical, something that hinted at the sea, but wanted it to retain a premium luxury feel. During the build process, a large unique boat sculpture was uncovered and has become a key feature of the property. We took inspiration from the sculpture, adapting the waves for the main identity.
In addition to the identity we also created bespoke interior and exterior wayfinding signage, a fully responsive website, room and food photography and promotional films, Menu design, branded uniforms and towels, key cards, gift vouchers, stationery and email footers. We also manage all the social media posts, blog posts, website content, Adwords and paid social campaigns.
