We were back again at Colwyn Bay's annual PromXtra event this weekend enjoying the sun and delivering some exciting creative workshops with Sarah and Niki!
We are proud sponsors of the beach zone at this local event based on Colwyn Bay beach, and this year we were back with our creative workshops!
Sarah and Niki set to work sharing their creative flair, creating masks fit for any impending Eurovision party, masquerade ball, upcoming pirate weekend or, just casual wear to accessorise any outfit.
Here's what Sarah had to say...
Niki and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves running the VCA mask-making workshop for Prom Xtra, last weekend. The sun was shining, the people were smiling and we had an amazing turn out, with over 400 children making a paper plate mask. Such a simple idea, but every single one was beautifully different, from pirates to abstract scribbles; pop-stars to detailed designs and text. The children were all really great, and a few parents couldn’t resist joining in the fun either – well, we did have some pretty fine pens to play with you know :)
Thank you to everyone who took part and we’ll look forward to seeing you again next year!
Let’s talk business cards, something quite simple, yet so many people get it so wrong and miss the point. We hand them out face to face, the first introduction, a statement of you and the company you represent. Yet, we see it so many times, people apologising as they hand you their card, making excuses for the company that they are representing. Not a good start...
