A small batch production Welsh gin made near Denbigh, North Wales.
The illustration of the hare in the logo was close to the client’s heart, it referenced a pin badge he gave to his wife as a special gift. Hares are also quite prevalent in the garden and surrounding countryside near the client’s home. The illustration has a traditional woodblock feel which was partnered with a simple clean font. This uncomplicated brand ident is strong and visible when placed with the highly patterned designs for the labels. These playful patterns being the main focus of the packaging for customers to easily interpret the flavour of each gin; Sweetshop, Amber and Cherry Bakewell. The label was created using a subtle holographic material which is particularly noticeable on the white of the logo, and which adds an additional rainbow effect when placed in a certain light, whilst also reflecting off the inside of the label.
